San Juan Brewfest
The 12th annual San Juan Brewfest will be held on Saturday September 11,
 2010 from noon to 6 p.m. in downtown Durango on Main Ave. between 12th and 13th Streets. The event is sponsored by Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort, planned by CookManFood.com, and benefits United Way of Southwest Colorado.This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever. Over 30 breweries from around the nation will be bringing their finest brews for tasting. New this year is a special VIP pass that allows true beer aficionados the opportunity to interact with brewers the night before the Brewfest at a private party and allows entry to the event one hour before the general public. Gates will open Saturday at noon for VIP pass holders and at 1 p.m. for the general public. Entry fee is $20 for general public and $40 for the VIP pass. Attendees will receive a souvenir tasting mug and unlimited tastings of the beers. Entertainment will be provided by Jaki and the Joysticks. Food will also be available for purchase.
